The “Why” Behind the Rebound in Assisted Living Occupancy

May-July 2022 intra-quarterly data showed a relatively larger increase in assisted living occupancy compared to other care segments, particularly in NIC MAP Secondary markets.

While senior housing occupancy has been rising across the board following the pandemic low point in early 2021, assisted living has seen a relatively faster recovery since at least mid-2021.
